The Dream Shot
Inspired by photographers like Pat Kay and Luke Stackpoole, this is one of my favorite shots. Where does your eye go first? To the car? The mountain? For me, it’s the car that leads me toward the mountain’s striking presence.
This photo was taken in a small town about two hours outside of Cusco, on the way to start the Salkantay Trek. I find myself coming back to this image often—I got to capture this before our adventure started, and it was a dream shot.
